Chris Bumstead is a co-owner rather than the founder. Raw Nutrition was started in 2019 by Dr Dom Iacovone and coach Matt Jansen, and CBUM joined the ownership team in 2021. The CBUM and Bum branded tubs, such as Essential Pre, Thavage, Essential Creatine and Bum Essential Performance, are the lines tied most closely to him.
