How much protein is in Nuzest Clean Lean Protein?

A 25 g serve (2 scoops) of Nuzest Clean Lean Protein gives 18–20 g protein depending on flavour: Just Natural and Wild Strawberry about 20 g, Smooth Vanilla 19 g and Rich Chocolate 18 g. Each serve is roughly 100–104 kcal with under 2 g carbohydrate. Protein contributes to the maintenance of muscle mass. Check the panel on your tub, as values can vary slightly between batches.

Is Nuzest Clean Lean Protein pea protein or whey?

Clean Lean Protein is pea protein, not whey. The main ingredient is pea protein isolate made from European golden peas, and the Just Natural flavour is pea protein isolate only. It contains no milk, so it suits shoppers who want a dairy-free alternative to whey. All nine essential amino acids are present naturally, with about 1.7 g leucine per 25 g serve.

What are the ingredients in Nuzest Clean Lean Protein?

The ingredient lists are short. Just Natural is 100% pea protein isolate. Smooth Vanilla adds natural vanilla flavour and stevia (steviol glycosides). Wild Strawberry adds natural strawberry flavour, beetroot powder, natural vanilla flavour and stevia. Rich Chocolate adds cacao powder, natural chocolate and vanilla flavours, stevia and salt. There are no gums, fillers or artificial sweeteners in these flavours.

Is Nuzest vegan?

Clean Lean Protein is plant-based and suitable for vegans, made from pea protein isolate with no animal ingredients. The Plant Protein Plus+ blends also use a pea protein base, and Immune Amie, Glowing All Over and Good Green Vitality use vegan vitamin D3. If you follow a strict vegan diet, check the label on your pack, since a formula can change between batches.

Is Nuzest Clean Lean Protein dairy-free, gluten-free and soy-free?

Yes for the flavours GymStack stocks. Rich Chocolate, Wild Strawberry, Smooth Vanilla and Just Natural list none of the 14 UK allergens: no milk, no soy and no cereals containing gluten. Nuzest also sells a Chocolate Peanut Butter flavour that contains peanuts, but it is not part of this range. Always read the label if you have a severe allergy.

Is Nuzest third-party tested?

Nuzest says its products are made in GMP-certified facilities and tested by independent ISO 17025-accredited laboratories before release. That is the brand's own quality programme. Nuzest does not list Informed Sport or Informed Choice certification for these UK products, so athletes in tested sports should check the current certification status with Nuzest or the testing body before use.

Does Nuzest protein contain heavy metals or lead?

Plant proteins can carry trace amounts of naturally occurring minerals from the soil, including heavy metals. UK stockists quoting Nuzest say every batch of Clean Lean Protein is tested for heavy metals, microbes and allergens, and the brand says its testing uses ISO 17025-accredited labs. GymStack does not hold batch certificates, so contact Nuzest if you want results for a specific batch.

How many servings are in Nuzest Clean Lean Protein 1kg?

A 1 kg tub of Clean Lean Protein provides about 40 serves of 25 g (2 scoops). The 500 g tub gives about 20 serves, and the 10 x 25 g Rich Chocolate pack holds 10 single-serve sachets. Nuzest suggests mixing one serve with about 350 ml of water, milk or a plant drink, or blending it into a smoothie.

What is in Nuzest Good Green Vitality?

Good Green Vitality is a greens and multi-nutrient powder. Each 10 g scoop combines pea protein, spirulina, chlorella, barley grass, wheatgrass, vegetables, fruit, plant extracts, digestive enzymes and live cultures (L. acidophilus and B. bifidum) with 23 vitamins and minerals. It provides 100 µg vitamin B12 and 400 mg vitamin C per scoop. Vitamin B12 contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Does Nuzest Good Green Vitality contain gluten?

Good Green Vitality contains wheatgrass and barley grass. Nuzest says the grasses are harvested without seed or grain and that batches are tested for gluten. UK retailer labels still list WHEAT, BARLEY and cereals containing gluten as allergens for this product, so if you need to avoid gluten or wheat, assume it contains gluten cereals and check your pack.

How do you take Nuzest Good Green Vitality?

Mix one 10 g scoop into 250 ml of cold water or juice once a day, or use one 10 g sachet from the box of 10. Nuzest advises refrigerating the tub after opening and using it within 100 days. Do not exceed the daily dose, and speak to a health professional first if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking prescription medicines such as warfarin.
