How much creatine is in Kre-Alkalyn EFX?

Each serving of Kre-Alkalyn EFX lists 1,500 mg (1.5 g) Kre-Alkalyn buffered creatine monohydrate — whether you take 2 clear capsules or one powder scoop. A 120-cap bottle gives 60 servings; 240 caps give 120. Creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high intensity exercise. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of creatine, so two servings in a day reach that amount.

What is the difference between Kre-Alkalyn and creatine monohydrate?

Kre-Alkalyn is a buffered form of creatine monohydrate made by EFX Sports (US Patent #6,399,661). The brand panel still lists it as buffered creatine monohydrate at 1,500 mg per serving. Standard creatine monohydrate is usually taken at about 3–5 g per day. The authorised creatine claim is the same for both and needs 3 g creatine per day. GymStack also lists Kre-Alkalyn as capsules and as flavoured or unflavored powder.

How do you take Kre-Alkalyn EFX?

Brand directions for the clear capsules: take 2 capsules about 30 minutes before training and 2 capsules after training. On non-training days, take 2 capsules with breakfast. For the powder, mix one scoop (1.5 g unflavored or about 2 g flavoured) into water or a shake on the same schedule. Do not exceed the labelled dose. Food supplements should not replace a varied diet.

Do you need to load Kre-Alkalyn?

The EFX Sports label does not set a loading phase. Suggested use is 1.5–3 g Kre-Alkalyn per day (one to two servings). For the authorised creatine claim you still need 3 g creatine per day, which is two Kre-Alkalyn servings. Always follow the pack you receive.
