Type 2 is different: Collagen 2 Joint Complex uses chicken sternum collagen type II peptides at 2,000 mg per 4 capsules, with 60 mg hyaluronic acid. Pick the type named on the label rather than mixing the numbers up.

No. NeoCell collagen comes from animals: bovine hide for type 1 and 3, chicken sternum for type 2, and fish for marine peptides. Advanced Hydrolysed Collagen also uses a bovine gelatin capsule. The vegan NeoCell SKUs in stock here are Advanced Hyaluronic Acid (vcaps) and Beauty Biotin strawberry gummies — neither contains collagen.

Yes. Advanced Marine Collagen Peptides lists hydrolysed fish collagen 5 g per 5 g serving, with 12 mg vitamin C and 8.5 mg hyaluronic acid. It contains FISH, so it is unsuitable for vegetarians, vegans and anyone with a fish allergy. NeoCell’s US materials have also described marine collagen from carp on some lines — always check the allergen panel on your pack.

10,000 µg (10 mg) of biotin per 2 strawberry gummies, which is 20,000% of the NRV. The 60-gummy bottle is 30 servings. The gummies are vegan (pectin, not gelatin) and do not contain collagen. Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and skin. Keep other biotin tablets in mind so you do not stack mega-doses by accident.

Pomegranate. Each 15 ml tablespoon gives 4 g grassfed bovine collagen peptides in a demineralised-water base with a pomegranate fruit blend, organic sugar or cane sugar, and stevia. The bottle is 473 ml. Labels note it may contain trace naturally occurring sulfite residue. It is not an unflavoured powder — those are separate tubs.
